On the face of it, apartments at Highgrove Retirement Village seem much like those at any other contemporary retirement village. But delve and you’ll find that they are characterised by a quality and finish, with ‘extras’ included that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.

Living area

Every apartment at Highgrove has a spacious open plan living area that opens out onto a paved garden patio or a balcony with a view.

The living area has been carefully designed with day-to-day living in mind – there is ample room to house a lounge suite, television, dining room table with chairs, and sideboard. The New Zealand-made 100% wool carpet completes the package.

Unlike many retirement villages, all Highgrove apartments are fitted with a heat pump which makes the apartment pleasantly cool in summer, and snugly warm in winter.

Kitchen

A fully-functioning kitchen opens onto the living area. With a spacious practicality, residents are free to choose whether to prepare meals for themselves or use the village restaurant.

Granite benchtops and ceramic tiling typify the quality finish.

Bedrooms

Apartments at Highgrove are available in either one or two bedrooms.

Designed to take either a double or two single beds, the master bedroom features a double fitted wardrobe with mirrored doors, and for a quiet night’s sleep – there’s double-glazing throughout the apartment.

Telephone and television jacks are standard in each master bedroom, as well as an emergency 24-hour call button.

Bathroom/Laundry

Like the fittings throughout your Highgrove apartment, the bathroom is equipped with the best – quality vanity and tapware, easy-access shower, heated towel rail – and to spoil you all year around, underfloor heating.

So that residents can live as independently as they wish, the bathroom is also fitted with full hideaway laundry facilities – washing machine and dryer – which, like the kitchen whiteware, come standard with purchase.

A 24/7 emergency call button is also located in the bathroom.
